About Me

julieHi, I’m Julie Richardson, your local independent driving instructor.

I became a driving instructor because I love the freedom driving gives you and I want as many people as possible to have that freedom, whether it’s for work or for pleasure.

I have over 10 years vocational training experience, teaching people from all walks of life, including some with learning difficulties. Over the years I have become very aware of the importance of having a driving licence, and the opportunities available to people if they can travel further afield not only to gain work, but also to enjoy different life experiences and culture at home in the UK and abroad. This career now offers me the opportunity to gain real job satisfaction and help people reach their goals.

I have been driving for over 30 years and I am passionate about road safety and the importance of teaching safe driving skills for life, not just to pass your driving test.

When I trained as a driving instructor I did endless research on all the driving schools, so I know how important it is find the right driving school for you. I have been trained in the latest adult teaching and coaching techniques and you can be assured that all the lessons will be of the highest standard. I aim to present and teach at a rate that suits each individual and to make each lesson as enjoyable and productive as possible. Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends.

I relish any time I can spend in a warmer climate whenever I get the chance. I enjoy driving when I’m on holiday because you get to see more places and you’re not tied down to a coach timetable.

In my spare time I am also a keen photographer.

Well I hope this has given you a brief idea about me, so please feel free to click here to Contact me and I look forward to meeting you.
